I'm a new Avalon fan. I was looking for a variety of versions of Amazing Grace to accompany a script I'm writing on the life of John Newton (who wrote the lyrics) when I found your version on iTunes. I loved it so I bought the album "Faith: a Hymns Collection." I've listened to many versions of "Amazing Grace" and found that, perhaps in trying to remain true to the song, many versions seem to be afraid to be creative. Your version is quite refreshing. When I heard it I said "This is the version for the opening sequence!" I also love the rest of the album, especially "I'll Fly Away" (It lit my fire, so apparently my wood isn't wet!).

I love the song YOUR ARE EVERYTHING TO ME!!! That song speaks the truth about now a day Cristians. You can go to church, listen to Christian music, go to concerts, read the Bible, adn pray but if you do not have a relationship with Jesus Christ than all these things come to nothing. For a woman who enjoys fall as her favorite time of year, look out… I've lived in both Wisconsin (which has beautiful fall weather), and Texas. You don't really get to experience autumn in Texas. It's a wonderful state though, with amazingly wonderful people!

I am so glad to hear that things are going so well for you since you've answered the call that God has placed on your lives to be worship leaders in your church. My husband and I also lead music at our little church and God has taken and multiplied our talents in that He has opened up many doors for us to sing out since we've answered the call to help do music at this church. The little church is also growing because we've been so willing to answer the call that God has placed on our lives. I too can testify that there is no place like the center of His will.

Very glad you are at the Woodlands Church.. The work that you and Greg and the entire praise and worship group do each Sunday is truely amazing! I love our church and Im so thankful that you guys are there! Yesterdays service was amazing!!!

Janna, congratulations on that new addition to the family. I love AVALON and my dream would be attending one of your Concerts. Now that you live in Texas I think I have more chances, right? I live in McAllen, a few hours from you.

I would LOVE to know the next time you are in the Woodlands. I have been a fan since right after Cheri (was that her name?) joined. I remember when Michael left and Greg joined. I remember when Liliana was born. Then Jody had to leave due to his health. I have been here all along. I have 95% of your albums. I haven't seen you since Nov 08 when you did the Christmas tour with Casting Crowns and Natalie Grant. Melissa announced that she was pregnant with #2 at that concert. To know that you were THAT close (the Woodlands) and I missed you is so TERRIBLY sad. Jeremy and Amy live in Fl. Do Janna and Greg still live in Nashville? You are my people. AKW
