The neat thing about this piece is that you get a real sense of how they formed. And it appears that former Avalon members: Melissa McLellan Greene , Michael Passons, Cherie Adams, Nikki Hassman-Anders, and Jody McBrayer didn't object to Avalon's re-emergence. After all alot of times it it hard and there are name rights and alot of red tape when a band is reborn after a lapse of time. It will be interesting to have you interview the former members to see if indeed they feel comfortable about Avalon being formed again. But for now let's hope the band catches on in a aready crowded Contemporary Christian market.

How did the decision to bring Avalon back come about? I mean you hear about so many groups splitting up or falling down Caedmon's Call, Sonic Flood, 4HIM, DCTALK, Burlap to Cashmere, Three Crosses? I am glad that you guys some how resurected Avalon. Who are the members now, and did you have any trouble out of the former members, when you decided to bring Avalon back?

I am happy to hear that Avalon is going to be doing a few Christmas shows this year, and will be touring again.

I love listening to Avalons songs! I have been listening to them literally all my life! (born in 1996) I still love listening to the Oxygen CD as well as Testify to love and other CDs.
