Family
As I write today, Eleanor and I are visiting family in SC. Except for my parents, none of my family had met her. We spent yesterday with my 90 year old grandma. These are very special moments. My sweet baby will soon be 4 months old. Time is flying by.
We are finally settling into normal life in Texas. Yes, it’s blazing hot, but I won’t start whining. There are too many blessings to make up for it. We are right where God has led us and there is no place like the center of His will.
I have missed my Avalon family and look forward to our shows starting in a few weeks. I feel so blessed to have a wonderful ministry in Avalon and now, a wonderful church family at Woodlands Church.
Stay cool. Baby is crying and duty calls….

Janna, congratulations on that new addition to the family. I love AVALON and my dream would be attending one of your Concerts. Now that you live in Texas I think I have more chances, right? I live in McAllen, a few hours from you.
I'm glad that Avalon is still going and I loved the new album. I think my favorite song is DESTINED, I love the lyrics, and you guys are the best bringing songs to life. May God help you touring with your family and He gives you strength to keep on going. You were missed!!!! With love,

Very glad you are at the Woodlands Church.. The work that you and Greg and the entire praise and worship group do each Sunday is truely amazing! I love our church and Im so thankful that you guys are there! Yesterdays service was amazing!!!
I am so glad to hear that things are going so well for you since you've answered the call that God has placed on your lives to be worship leaders in your church. My husband and I also lead music at our little church and God has taken and multiplied our talents in that He has opened up many doors for us to sing out since we've answered the call to help do music at this church. The little church is also growing because we've been so willing to answer the call that God has placed on our lives. I too can testify that there is no place like the center of His will.
For a woman who enjoys fall as her favorite time of year, look out… I've lived in both Wisconsin (which has beautiful fall weather), and Texas. You don't really get to experience autumn in Texas. It's a wonderful state though, with amazingly wonderful people!

I'm a new Avalon fan. I was looking for a variety of versions of Amazing Grace to accompany a script I'm writing on the life of John Newton (who wrote the lyrics) when I found your version on iTunes. I loved it so I bought the album "Faith: a Hymns Collection." I've listened to many versions of "Amazing Grace" and found that, perhaps in trying to remain true to the song, many versions seem to be afraid to be creative. Your version is quite refreshing. When I heard it I said "This is the version for the opening sequence!" I also love the rest of the album, especially "I'll Fly Away" (It lit my fire, so apparently my wood isn't wet!).
I just want and need to let you know how big of a blessing you guys areto me personally! Anytime EVER that you guys feel down, don't, because your ministry throughout the years has helped to carve my love of music and enjoy it! With your
music I can sing along and get crazy in love with the lyrics and the praise going out to God. I have never been able to attend one of your concerts and it is STILL STILL STILL on my dream list, but I have faithfully been buying your cds and dying almost waiting for the next one! Because of you guys you have helped me dive into music at church and break away my nerves when singing!! You all are an inspiration!!!
I look forward to all that God has for me and knowing that where ever God leads me, my Avalon will always be with me!!!
