A Very Present Help . . .
So how ya been? (‘pause for response…)
I am well and enjoying spending a morning with God. I spoke this morning, via Facebook, with someone who encouraged me about ministry and Avalon. He took time to share a story about how Avalon has ministered to him and how the new album, especially ARISE, has taken him out of his present situation to a higher place in God. I am always humbled at how God speaks to his children through the power of the Holy Spirit. It is an honor to be a vessel and your stories mean the world to us all.
Amy and I are doing well, our girls are hysterical and so loud. Ariah is gearing up for her first ballet recital in which she is a mermaid. She has been a little upset that she has to wear pants for that dance. “Ballet dancers don’t wear pants!” she said. We encouraged her that mermaid dancers do. Shalom is the “bull in a china shop” child. She does everything dramatically… We’ve been singing the B-I-B-L-E with her and now she says Bible all the time. I am not sure she understands what she is saying… she could be asking for a bottle
She is so sweet. Definitely our bundle of peace.
2010 has been an action packed time in the family of Avalon. We have experienced both sides of the spectrum of life. I am always reminded that God is not far off but a very present help… Would you all please help us pray for our dear friend Kristy. She has spend years traveling with us and has maintained sanity on the road through the care of our children. Her family is need of a miracle. Please pray for her and the family. God is in control but we often need to peace that passes understanding to surround us with songs of deliverance. The Mayfield family needs our prayers.
love you all and thanks for all that you do.
have a great week

praying for Kristy!
It's great that all is well. I know just how wonderful the Avalon Ministry is and how great is is to be touched by God's word through it. Please tell Kristy that I will keep her family in my prayers. I love you all.
I have tried to use the contact information tab on your website and I have been unable to get it to work. I am the International Marketing Director for Mercy Ships. We operate the world's largest non-governmental hospital to bring hope and healing to the forgotten poor. We are currently serving in the country of Togo, located in West Africa.
The reason for my contacting you is I would like to talk to someone about permission to use your song Orphans of God as the background music for our screening video for 2011. We will be in Sierra Leone and we think it would be a perfect fit.
Could you direct me in the correct direction of where to go so that we might get proper permission to use it? It would be on a video similar to this. http://www.youtube.com/user/mercyshipsvideos#p/u/...
That was our video for this year.

Hy guys! My name is Caleb J.LeJune. It is nice to be able to meet and talk with you guys. I am twenty-one and the oldest of five children. Me and my family love your music. I love the song YOUR ARE EVERYTHING TO ME!!! That song speaks the truth about now a day Cristians. You can go to church, listen to Christian music, go to concerts, read the Bible, adn pray but if you do not have a relationship with Jesus Christ than all these things come to nothing. Thankyou for worhipping God!!! KEEP THE FIATH! KEEP THE FAITH!!! God Bless and have a great week
I love listening to Avalons songs! I have been listening to them literally all my life! (born in 1996) I still love listening to the Oxygen CD as well as Testify to love and other CDs.
