Waiting on Baby Long!

Wow.  Where shall I begin? So many things going on in our lives, the biggest being the arrival of baby Long.  I am due in just a few, short weeks.  I must admit I’m pretty miserable at this point.  Sleep is hard to come by and I have little energy.  But, I know the end result is going to be spectacular.  I can’t wait to see if we have a boy or girl.  We will definitely be posting our big news when the day finally arrives.

Also, Greg and I are helping lead worship at Woodlands Church in Texas.  We are really enjoying this new opportunity.

Well, hope you are having a wonderful 2010.  I know God is up to great things in all of our lives.  Sometimes, we just have to slow down and see where He is moving.

Many blessings and I hope to be reporting baby news soon.

Janna

I am very happy for both of you that you have this opportunity. My husband and I are still helping to lead worship at the Cottage Prayer Chapel in Uniontown, OH and we are seeing a tremendous amount of growth in attendance whereas when we first started at this church, we were only averaging 5 to 10 people in attendance. We now are averaging anywhere between 20 and 50 people in attendance.

First of all, Thank you guys for your songs and your passion about Jesus. i will tell you that thanks to God and one of your songs that touched me deeply inside me, I gave my life to Jesus. So I guess that this will make me a new baby in the christianity world, so different from my old one (I was agnostic). My church is helping me a lot, but I confess that your songs are helping me a lot. This is why I needed to contact you, Avalon, to ask God for His mighty bless to all of you, your family and all the rest of them that will come in the future. Keep my heart pounding hard as when I listen to you. Adolfo

I just to wanted to thank you Janna & Avalon in its many transitions since I first saw you back in the early 90's in Florida, for blessing me persoally with such beautiful and inspiring music. I took my mother that first night , and she being a lifelong Catholic , was blown away, ant the outpouring of spirit through the music that night . I come from a musical family, and spent many years in bands with my siblings . My sister who like you was a fan of Aretha's and some others Whitney& Patti Labelle. We were talking the other night I had just gotten her your new Cd "Reborn" she was saying when ever she needs to reconnect with God's spirit through music , she puts on Janna Long's solo Cd. We both agree although those other women are talented ,and have done memorable work in their musical careers , It is Janna Long that is at the top of our list, for most inspiring, and lasting contributions. Wishing you and Greg every bountiful blessing possible with the coming birth of your third child , and in each and every other way that God might choose to work his wonder Peace & Love
