Year End Thoughts

What an interesting fall we have been having in the world of Avalon. We wrapped a tour with our great friends, Selah, and toured our Christmas Album, Joy. We’ve laughed and cried together and walked hand in hand through the celebration of new life and the uncertainty of sickness. In all these situations God has proven faithful.

I love how the book of Isaiah says: When you’re in over your head, I’ll be there with you. When you’re in rough waters, you will not go down. When you’re between a rock and a hard place, it won’t be a dead end – Because I am God, your personal God…

We’ve also had the joy of celebrating our 22nd number one single, Arise! Arise is from our newest project, Reborn.

So now what? Well, it’s Christmas season: it’s time to put up the trees, mix up some spiced tea and celebrate each other and the birth of our Lord. This Christmas, Ariah is so excited. She has miny dance recital on Thursday and Shalom is crawling and has a tooth. Where is time going? I also hope Santa brings everything the girls want :)

We (The Richardsons) would like to thank everyone for spending another year supporting us (Avalon) and our music. It is an honor to get to know many of you and celebrate on this journey together. Thank you for purchasing Reborn and remember it is a great stocking stuffer.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Jeremi

Merry Christmas to all of you also. I can't wait to purchase my copy of Reborn and congratulations to Janna and Greg expecting their 3rd child in February.

  3. I'm so grateful for Avalon, especially for Don't Save it All. I've never heard anyone else sing it but you and will forever attribute it to you. I've always been a fan though not hardcore but during this holiday season the only song that soothes me and touches my heart is Don't Save it All. In fact, the first time I heard it was about two weeks ago after I'd slept through my alarm and snooze. That song woke me up. Tears ran down my face. Please don't be offended, but I thought you were black artists (I'm black). At any rate, I pray our Lord continually blesses the works of your hearts, spirits and voices to bless so many people – like me.

Hello, my name is Nayara, here in Brazil, and I am passionate about the work of you, I wonder if I can find the CDs of the band here in Brazil, and if you are to do a show here in Brazil.

May God continue to bless your work, infinitely more!

    kisses!
